My family loves A'Cuppa Tea, we try to go as often as we can! Quiet but nice atmosphere, very welcoming. The owners are so kind and sweet, we always feel welcome and relaxed here. Always playing calming music, which is a plus, as my kids are both the "Bouncin' Off the Walls" personality type. There is a downstairs area with lots of interesting short tables and stuffed chairs plus a few tables with regular chairs. The upstairs area, up a cute, narrow staircase, has more tables and chairs. There are outlets scattered around to plug in electronic devices. Everything on the menu that we've tried is yummy, my kids especially love the watermelon juice and fresh lemonade, and we all love the chicken cabbage salad and chicken teriyaki bowl. A great selection of coffee and teas with boba available. Parking can be difficult, as it's on College Avenue near the corner of Ashby Avenue, but there are plenty of side streets to find parking on. It is around the corner from the Clermont library branch, and kitty-corner-across-the-street is the Webster Street US Post Office branch. Highly recommend. One of our favorite places in Berkeley!

A little weird and non descript, but the tea selection is wonderful, the classical music is a godsend for studying and its just far away enough that it's not usually crowded. It's definitely not hip or trendy, but for actual function and comfort, it takes the cake. Plus the server/owner is the sweetest.
